Angela Falaschi

Angela has been a fully qualified nutritional therapist and homeopath for over 17 years, working mainly at The Hale Clinic,
one of Europe's leading complementary health centres. She uses effective
combinations of nutritional therapy and homeopathy to restore her
patients' health and vitality. She also uses allergy testing (with the most
advanced system available) and iridology. She finds these tools are
excellent for helping to get to the root of health problems.
A period of personal ill health initially prompted Angela to
pursue her interest in nutrition. She studied at the British College of
Nutritional Medicine and the Hahnemann College of Homeopathy. Her
training, research, practice and personal experience have all proven to
her that good nutrition is the foundation of vitality and good heatlh.
She says of her approach to dealing with health problems: 'It
is highly effective for treating digestive disorders, sleep problems,
apathy, mild depression, hormonal problems,
headaches and irritability, as well as common children's ailments, such
as skin problems, interrupted sleep patterns and attention deficit
disorder to name just a few conditions.'
Weight related problems have been very satisfactorily treated by Angela, as people
actually maintain the weight loss achieved, even after a number of years have passed.
Angela says: 'I don't believe in drastic diets. My approach is to change the
composition of the client's diet, working on the liver, as this organ
is very important for fat metabolism. Metabolic rate slows as we age,
so the digestion of food takes longer and more of it goes to be stored
as fat. My clients range from pregnant women, babies and children to
adults and the elderly and including a number of medical professionals.'
Angela has advised more than 10,000 clients with a wide range
of health problems. She has appeared in many publications, including The Times, the Daily Mail, the Daily Express, The Guardian and a range of leading health magazines.
She has also been invited to speak at a number of high-profile events, including a cross-party discussion on childhood obesity at the Scottish Parliament in 2008, a parliamentary reception with the Westminster Food and Nutrition Forum in 2007, and the Fresi Steady Cook conference on improving standards in hospital and care-home kitchens, also in 2007.
She is a member of the following professional bodies:
- The Guild of Naturopathic Iridologists
- The Homeopathic Medical Association
- The British Association of Nutritional Therapy
